Zinc: Zinc is essential for absorption of Vitamin A and also regulates levels of Vitamin E in the blood. It also boosts the immune system and helps kill acne bacteria.

Selenium: Selenium is needed for skin elasticity. It also boosts the action of the other anti-oxidants.

Magnesium: This mineral seems to play a major role in hormone balance. And imbalance hormones are a major cause of acne.

Acne Vitamins Alone WON’T Cure Acne

Although vitamins are important to treat acne, the most important nutrient for the treatment of acne is not an acne vitamin, mineral, or an herb. Without it your hormones get way out of balance and you get acne. However, if you have enough of it your hormones balance out naturally and acne disappears.
